Are You Still Anxious on Medication?

Author: Joanne King

There are many other people out there who still get anxious and/or suffer panic attacks while taking medication. For some people, it may even increase their anxieties as a side effect.

If you still feel anxious taking the medication its because when a person is TRULY anxious none of these medications are going to stop these nasty sensations.

These medications are supposed to be used as a bridge to help you overcome your anxiety disorder. In other words, you also need to be seeking other alternative methods to help you conquer the disorder.

For example:-

CBT Cognitive Behavioural Techniques
EFT Emotional Freedom Techniques

What these basically are, are programs designed to show you how to re-learn (re-program your brain) Which is basically what you need to do, you need to unlearn your anxious behaviour and re-teach your brain how to react to fear and stress in an appropriate way.

This is basically what I teach in How to Overcome Anxiety & Panic Attacks but in a very simplistic way. Its just a matter of finding what you react to and understand the best.
