Nursing schools are specialized educational institutions, where are educated and trained to become a nurse. It prepares students to serve people of all ages from newborn babies to the aged. Related majors include behavioral science, anatomy, chemistry, nutrition, and physiology. Most courses comprise practical experiences in a variety of ambulatory and inpatient care settings, including community agencies, hospitals, industries, home health care centers, schools, and clinics.

There are a number of online nursing schools that provide courses in nursing. This is a great chance for registered nurses to expand their skills, as they already have medical experience. Many nursing schools offer part-time attendance and night classes according to students convenience. Off-campus classes are also available.

Accreditation from National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) is an important factor for nursing schools. Nursing schools provide scholarships and financial aids to assist students.
